I’m interested in using Python to generate figures within a manuscript.
- What do you like about it?
I really like that you can generate figures with code inline.
- What’s missing?
I could not find documentation about what Python libraries are included. I tried importing seaborn, and that did not return any errors, but trial and error could be tedious.
Also, can we upload a file (e.g. a csv file) so that we can generate tables and figures directly from a data source? Should we just hardcode the data into the inline code?
- What’s confusing?
More information is needed about inline code.
